Golang Job: Software Developer (Go)

As a Software Developer at Sippy you will be a key member in the development of our core products and solutions offered. You will be a key contributor to the design of how our application operates and the architect to our product for years to come.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Adopt and Maintain mature code while working on adding new features and improvements.

• Collaboratively create realistic estimates for size and scope of tasks so we can accurately plan future development and deliver the requirements in a timely manner.

• Attend regular virtualized agile ceremonies, standups, planning, review and retrospectives.

• Work with a team of smart engineers – build high quality, reusable code that can be maintained for systems at scale.

Requirements

• Your skills in GoLang will be Critical for the success in joining our team but having some experience with C and Python will also be useful.

• Experience with SQL is a must. We use PostgreSQL for many of our applications.

• Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required for communication with our globally dispersed team. We will help you improve in this area as well.

• An Understanding of VoIP Protocols (SIP, RTP) will be useful.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.

• Results oriented, enjoys working with people to solve technical issues.
